Taco Salad

1lb of ground beef
16oz Catalina salad dressing
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 bag of shredded lettace
1 bag of shredded cheese (i used the fiesta mix or mexican mix)
1 15-16oz can of chili beans (drained)
1 15-16oz can garbanzo/chick peas (drained)
1 15-16oz can corn (drained)
1 12-16oz can of diced tomatoes
1 bag of regular Doritos (crushed)
Salsa
Sour cream
Chili powder
1. Brown ground beef.
2. Add taco seasoning packet along with Catalina salad dressing, chili beans, garbanzo beans and corn.
3. Fill salad dressing bottle 2/3 full of water and add it to the beef/bean mixture.
4. Bring to boil and then simmer for about 15 minutes, or until it is no longer soupy looking. Add chili powder to your desired spicyness.
5. Meanwhile in a 13x9 pan layer bottom with a little bit of lettace.
6. In a mixing bowl mix together lettace, about half a bag of the shredded cheese, tomatoes (do not drain them), and chips (you may not need the whole bag).
7. Add beef/bean mixture to the top of the lettace in the 13x9 pan... smooth it out to a nice layer.
8. Add salad, chip, tomato mixture on top of the beef/bean mixture
9. On top of all that add a few spoon fulls of salsa to the top of all the layers. You can spot it or you can layer the whole top.
10. ENJOY! You can add sour cream to your own serving.
